Bioremediation impacts the society by using products such as PRP (Petroleum Remediation Product)created by NASA to clean up any oil spills; whether it is on your driveway or in the ocean. Because of Bio remediation it has been easier on the public when oil spills occur, since it is being cleaned up by mother nature herself. Without Bioremediation it would cost the United States as much as $1 trillion. This also helps alot because some of the oil could go below the surface of the ground, and be even harder to clean up. Years ago when it was tried out on the Hanahan Projectthey were all surprised to see that it ad actually worked. Many people came to the conclusion that this works a lot better. |
